Transfer

We will try to assist those who wish to transfer from one property to another. Applications for transfers are also prioritised through the Highland Housing Register, so if you wish to be transferred to another property then you will need to complete an application form which can be obtained from the office or click here.

Exchange

We recognise that promoting mutual exchanges encourages tenant mobility and tenant choice and thereby helps to create sustainable communities.

Mutual exchanges can take place between 2 tenants of Pentland Housing or between a tenant of Pentland Housing and a tenant of another landlord, such as another Housing Association or a Local Authority. On occasions, multiple exchanges can take place, which involve more than 2 tenants.

If you wish to apply for an exchange of property with another tenant you should in the first instance speak to a member of staff who will provide you with further advice. We will not exchange tenant details without receiving authorisation from both parties.
